Small quantities of grapes and raisins can cause renal failure. Chocolate, macadamia nuts, cooked onions, avocados, raw bread dough or anything with xylitol (the no-calorie sweetener) are also very dangerous for dogs.
I’ve been studying canine nutrition for over a decade in order to help you choose the best diet for your dog. Whether it’s what to feed your growing puppy or how to help an older dog with health issues through nutrition, I’ll work with you to create a diet that’s both good for your dog and manageable for you. I can help you put together a real food diet that includes all the necessary supplements and vitamins or I can just recommend a high quality pet food that will help your dog live a long, happy, healthy life.
Is your dog, umm..."weight challenged?" Has your vet suggested he lose a couple? We can help! Send him to Fat Camp at The D.O.G. where, in conjunction with your vet, we'll set him up on a weight loss meal plan and a fitness program. In 3 weeks he'll come home to you svelte, healthy and strong. Afterwards, we'll do three follow-up home lessons with you to help you keep him that way.
